Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Beverage Delivery Driver, responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of a wide range of beverages to businesses and residences throughout the local suburbs of Atlanta. This is a high-activity role that requires a dedicated individual with excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will be an essential part of our supply chain, ensuring our products reach our valued customers while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver beverage products to assigned routes.
- Load and unload beverage cases and kegs, requiring physical stamina and careful handling.
- Verify order accuracy with customers and obtain necessary signatures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving minor issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and communicate maintenance needs.
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Handle cash and process payments as required.
- Represent The Coca-Cola Company professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in delivery driving or a similar role.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy beverage cases and kegs (up to 50+ lbs repeatedly).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local suburban Atlanta routes and navigation tools.
- Basic math skills for order verification and payment processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in beverage distribution or food service delivery.
- Experience operating a pallet jack or hand truck.
- Proficiency with handheld delivery devices or route management software.
- Customer service experience in a direct-to-consumer or business setting.
