Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Luxury Nursing Home Porter to join our friendly team in Falmouth. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility through various support services, contributing significantly to the comfort and safety of our residents and staff. This position offers a quiet and stable working environment, with all necessary uniform provided. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, a respectful approach, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and preventative checks.
- Ensure all areas of the nursing home, including common rooms, corridors, and grounds, are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Assist with the movement of furniture, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring proper storage and distribution.
- Support residents with non-care related tasks, such as moving personal items or assisting with mobility as required.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to requests from staff and residents for assistance.
- Maintain security of the premises by monitoring access points and reporting any concerns.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

- First Aid certification.
