Job Description
Join HealthONE as a Hospital Porter in Aurora, Colorado, and become an essential part of our non-clinical support team. Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients safely and comfortably via wheelchairs, gurneys, or beds between departments (e.g., from rooms to radiology, therapy, or discharge areas).
- Assist with moving equipment, supplies, and specimens throughout the hospital as needed.
- Deliver and retrieve linen, medical charts, and other materials to designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment and storage areas.
- Respond promptly to requests from nursing staff and other departments.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Provide basic assistance and comfort to patients during transport, ensuring their dignity and privacy.
