Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pinterest Knowledge Graph Associate with a strong data focus to join our dynamic team in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of knowledge graph capabilities for our clients, specifically focusing on data quality, integrity, and semantic enrichment relevant to platforms like Pinterest. You will work with large datasets, categorize content, and ensure the accuracy of information that drives search, recommendations, and overall user experience. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a foundational understanding of data structures and knowledge representation. Your work will directly contribute to building more intelligent and navigable data ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and categorize diverse datasets, including product information, visual content, and user-generated tags, to enrich knowledge graph entities.
- Perform data quality assurance and validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of knowledge graph data.
- Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to define and refine data schemas and ontologies.
- Identify patterns and anomalies in data to propose improvements for automated classification and entity linking.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tools and processes for knowledge graph maintenance.
- Document data models, definitions, and business rules for knowledge graph elements.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve search relevance and content discovery.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of data modeling, ontologies, or knowledge graph principles
