Job Description

We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented High-Value Client Teller to join our exclusive Luxury Banking Lounge in Nob Hill, Albuquerque. In this pivotal role, you will be the front-line ambassador for our most valued clients, delivering an unparalleled banking experience. You will manage complex, high-value transactions, provide personalized financial services, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and client satisfaction. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of financial protocols, and a commitment to fostering lasting client relationships within a sophisticated environment. A performance-based bonus structure is a key component of this compensation package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a broad range of high-value financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and foreign currency exchange.
  • Provide personalized, discreet, and exceptional service to high-net-worth clients, anticipating their needs and ensuring a seamless banking experience.
  • Handle complex client inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and a client-first approach, escalating when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to all banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal security procedures, especially concerning large sum transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to introduce them to other specialized banking services and wealth management solutions.
  • Safeguard client information and maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Process cash and other negotiable instruments accurately and balance cash drawers daily.
  • Collaborate with other lounge staff and financial advisors to ensure comprehensive client support and service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with banking products, services, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a banking, financial services, or luxury retail customer service role.
  • Proven experience handling high-value transactions and managing a cash drawer.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with affluent clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in banking software and standard office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Solid understanding of banking products, services, and financial regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a luxury service environment or private banking setting.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, to serve our diverse client base.
  • Familiarity with wealth management concepts and investment products.
