Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the Philippines. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing insights that support strategic decision-making across various business units. You will be responsible for leading complex financial models, managing budget processes, and presenting financial performance to senior leadership. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various business units to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial guidance.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for financial reporting.
- Mentor and guide junior financial analysts within the team.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives and special projects as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or a related finance role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related advanced degree.
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or other large-scale ERP/financial planning systems.
- Experience working in a global financial institution or a large multinational corporation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
