Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and efficient Night Fill Assistants to join our team in Naperville, Illinois. This full-time, on-site role is crucial to ensuring our store is perfectly stocked and organized for our guests each morning. You will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and placing merchandise on shelves overnight, contributing significantly to a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. This position offers competitive high night rates and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload and process incoming merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Accurately stock shelves, racks, and displays according to store planograms and organizational standards.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced, labeled, and faced.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized backroom and sales floor throughout the shift.
- Assist with inventory counts and contribute to loss prevention efforts.
- Operate essential store equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, balers) safely and effectively after proper training.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve nightly stocking goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently work overnight shifts.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, stand, and move heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, grocery, or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
