Job Description
Are you a high-energy student looking for a dynamic part-time role that fits your weekend schedule? Honest Coffee Roasters is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cafe Runners to support our bustling Downtown Huntsville location. This fast-paced position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a busy environment, enjoy interacting with customers, and are eager to be an essential part of our team. Key Responsibilities
- Expeditiously deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen/barista station to customer tables.
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for new guests.
- Assist customers with general inquiries and provide excellent, friendly service.
- Restock condiments, utensils, napkins, and other front-of-house supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables and sweeping floors as needed.
- Support baristas and kitchen staff with minor tasks as directed during peak hours.
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain efficient service flow.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a cafe or restaurant setting (even if limited).
- Basic knowledge of coffee or food service operations.
- Current Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain one quickly).
