Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior dispatchers with daily scheduling and route planning for drivers.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and potential delays.
  • Monitor vehicle movements and update status reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatches, driver logs, and customer interactions.
  • Respond to inquiries from drivers and internal departments in a timely manner.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and escalating complex problems.
  • Learn and utilize dispatch software and other operational tools.
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned to support the dispatch team.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
