As a Game Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and playability of our upcoming titles. You’ll be one of the first to experience our games, hunting for bugs, providing valuable feedback, and helping us deliver the best possible experience to players worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and identify software defects across various game features.
- Accurately record and document bugs using our internal tracking tools, providing clear steps to reproduce.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure reported issues are resolved effectively and new problems haven't arisen.
- Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback on gameplay, usability, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand game features, design intentions, and testing requirements.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality, thorough testing results.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new testing methodologies, tools, and game engines.
Required Skills
- A deep and genuine passion for video games and an understanding of various genres and platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills – you spot things others miss!
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members and developers.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with different software applications.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, inquisitive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- An eagerness to learn, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow within the gaming industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience playing games on multiple platforms (PC, console, mobile) and a wide range of genres.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Trello) is a plus but not strictly required – we'll teach you!
- A basic understanding of game development cycles and processes.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
