Job Description

GXO Logistics is offering an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a Trainee Reach Truck Driver in Ely. This is a full-time, permanent position where we will provide you with a fully funded Reach Truck Licence, comprehensive training, and continuous support to ensure your success. No prior experience with reach trucks is necessary – we’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow within a leading global logistics company. Key Responsibilities
- Undergo comprehensive training to obtain and safely operate a Reach Truck licence.
- Learn to accurately pick, move, and stack products within the warehouse using a Reach Truck.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring correct documentation and procedures are followed.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet operational targets and deadlines.
- Support inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and cycle counts as required.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills and adapting to warehouse processes.
