Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Response Agent to join our customer service team, specifically focusing on weekend e-commerce inquiries. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing timely and effective support across various communication channels. Your primary focus will be resolving issues, answering product questions, and ensuring a positive customer experience during peak weekend shopping hours. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a passion for helping others in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, chat, and occasionally phone, focusing on weekend hours.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, concerns, and questions related to orders, products, shipping, and returns.
  • Provide accurate information regarding Amazon's policies, products, and services.
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions thoroughly in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and strive for first-contact resolution.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated empathy and patience when dealing with customers.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace if working remotely some days.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment, particularly in e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with Amazon's products and services.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Spanish).
