Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Pin Design Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in developing engaging visual content, primarily for Pinterest and other social media platforms, to promote Redwood Credit Union’s services and community initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Design and create compelling Pinterest pins, infographics, and other visual assets aligned with RCU's brand guidelines and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct research on current design trends, Pinterest best practices, and competitor strategies to ensure our content remains fresh and impactful.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts and translate marketing objectives into visually appealing designs.
- Manage and organize a library of visual assets, ensuring easy accessibility and consistency across platforms.
- Assist in scheduling and publishing pins, optimizing for reach and engagement.
- Provide regular reports on pin performance and suggest improvements.
- Adapt existing visual content for various digital platforms as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated creativity and an eye for aesthetically pleasing design.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms, especially Pinterest.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience (even freelance or internship) in social media content creation or graphic design.
- Familiarity with financial services or credit union branding.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
