Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive training modules to understand State Farm's home insurance products and services.
  • Efficiently and accurately input customer information and policy details into our systems using strong typing skills.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing clear and concise information.
  • Assist clients with basic policy questions, claims reporting, and service requests related to home insurance.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic communication.
  • Collaborate with senior advisors and team leads to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional typing speed and accuracy (minimum 45 WPM).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and navigating multiple systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent active listening skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with insurance concepts (home, auto, life) is a plus but not required.
  • Associate's degree or some college coursework.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are a strong asset.
