Key Responsibilities

• Participate in an intensive training program covering all aspects of belt management and package handling operations.
• Learn and apply UPS operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Shadow and assist experienced Belt Managers in supervising sorting operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and efficiency targets.
• Contribute to the effective deployment and supervision of package handlers, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Monitor belt performance, identify potential issues, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Develop strong leadership skills through practical application, mentorship, and formal training modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations.
• Regularly report on operational metrics and team performance to senior management.

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Prior experience in a warehouse, production, or fast-paced operational environment.
• Previous leadership experience (e.g., team lead, supervisor in a non-corporate setting, volunteer coordinator).
• Familiarity with lean principles or operational efficiency methodologies.
