Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Online Pinterest Scheduler to join our remote marketing team. In this flexible role, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and scheduling compelling content for Wayfair’s Pinterest boards, driving engagement, traffic, and brand awareness. This is a 100% remote position offering the flexibility to choose your own hours, allowing you to balance work and personal life effectively while contributing to a leading e-commerce brand. You will work closely with our content and social media teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and optimal performance across our visual platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Pinterest content calendar in line with marketing objectives and seasonal trends.
- Curate, create, and optimize visually appealing pins, including static images, video pins, and Story pins, using brand guidelines.
- Write engaging and SEO-friendly pin descriptions, titles, and alt text to maximize discoverability.
- Schedule pins using Pinterest's native scheduler or third-party tools to ensure consistent daily posting.
- Monitor Pinterest trends, competitor activity, and best practices to inform content strategy.
- Analyze Pinterest performance metrics (impressions, clicks, saves, outbound clicks) and provide regular reports.
- Identify and implement strategies to grow Pinterest followers and engagement.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other marketing team members to source and develop content.
- Manage Pinterest boards, ensuring they are well-organized, optimized, and reflective of Wayfair's brand aesthetic.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Pinterest as a marketing tool, including scheduling and analytics.
- Strong understanding of visual content creation and digital storytelling.
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail for pin descriptions and copywriting.
- Familiarity with Pinterest SEO best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., Tailwind, Planoly, or native Pinterest scheduler).
- Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with tools like Canva for creating simple pins.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with other social media platforms and their respective analytics.
- Understanding of e-commerce industry trends and consumer behavior.
- Portfolio showcasing previous Pinterest marketing work or visual content creation.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or Trello.
