Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our dedicated nursing team in Gilbert, Arizona. This leadership role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and staff development within your assigned unit. The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, implementing best practices, fostering a collaborative work environment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and professional development.
- Oversee daily clinical operations, including staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation.
- Implement and monitor adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans and outcomes.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and equipment to ensure efficient unit operations.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address staff concerns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning for the nursing department.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
Required Skills
- Current RN license in Arizona (or eligible for licensure)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related advanced degree
- Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, NE-BC)
- Experience in an acute care setting within a large hospital system
- Proven track record of driving patient satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives
