Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Provide light housekeeping and assist with meal preparation according to care plans.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient's health status or behavior to supervisory staff.
  • Administer medication reminders as directed by medical professionals.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
  • Document services provided accurately and timely in patient records.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong desire to help others and compassion for individuals requiring care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a caregiving role (personal or professional).
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology.
