Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Provide light housekeeping and assist with meal preparation according to care plans.
- Monitor and report changes in patient's health status or behavior to supervisory staff.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by medical professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Document services provided accurately and timely in patient records.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong desire to help others and compassion for individuals requiring care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a caregiving role (personal or professional).
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
