Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Remote Google Media Analyst with a strong focus on Content Strategy to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in analyzing media performance across Google platforms, providing actionable insights that drive content optimization and overall campaign success for our diverse client portfolio. You will leverage data from Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other relevant tools to inform strategic decisions, identify trends, and enhance content effectiveness. Your expertise will directly contribute to maximizing ROI for our clients by ensuring their content resonates with target audiences and achieves defined objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive Google media analysis strategies with a focus on content performance.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), and other relevant content platforms.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in content consumption and engagement data to inform strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with content strategists, media planners, and client teams to translate data insights into actionable content optimization plans.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify content opportunities and gaps.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, clearly articulating findings and recommendations.
- Stay abreast of the latest Google product updates, industry trends, and best practices in content strategy and media analysis.
- Assist in the development of A/B testing frameworks for content variations and evaluate results to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong experience with Google Ads platform, including campaign analysis and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent understanding of content marketing principles and how media performance impacts content strategy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in media analysis, digital marketing analytics, or a similar role, preferably within an agency setting.
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) or Tableau.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and their impact on content performance.
- Basic understanding of SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
