Job Description

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate service while upholding XPO’s high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and securely, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Verify accuracy of deliveries against manifests and obtain necessary signatures.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing XPO Logistics professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including sorting and organizing freight, as needed between deliveries.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and compliance.
Required Skills
- Valid Non-CDL Driver's License
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry freight up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role (even if informal)
- Familiarity with the Fullerton and wider Orange County area routes
- Experience using handheld scanning devices or similar delivery technology
