Job Description
Are you passionate about entertainment and have a keen eye for detail? Netflix is seeking a dedicated Creative Content Sorter to join our remote team. This is a unique 100% Work From Home opportunity to contribute directly to how our vast library of content is organized and presented to millions of users worldwide. As a Creative Content Sorter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and discoverability of our content, helping viewers find their next favorite show or movie with ease. This fully remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home, instrumental in categorizing, tagging, and refining metadata for various types of media to align with Netflix’s quality standards and content guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, categorize, and tag a wide range of content (movies, TV shows, documentaries, etc.) based on predefined guidelines and taxonomies.
- Review and verify existing content metadata for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, errors, or missing information in the content database.
- Collaborate with content teams to improve sorting processes and content discoverability.
- Adhere strictly to confidentiality and content review policies.
- Manage daily workflow efficiently to meet sorting quotas and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient computer skills and comfort with digital tools and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- A strong interest in movies, TV shows, and general entertainment content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with content management systems or data entry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Netflix's platform and content categories.
- Demonstrated ability to follow complex guidelines and adapt to changes quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college experience is a bonus.
