Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator with expertise in both Counterbalance and Reach trucks to join our bustling warehouse team in Stockton, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator looking for top pay and a stable career with a leading logistics provider. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our facility, ensuring accurate inventory management, and contributing to the smooth flow of operations. Key Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
- Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance on forklifts; report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and product types.
- Receive and store incoming inventory, verifying counts against packing lists and inspecting for damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed to ensure accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic math and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced warehousing or logistics environment.
- Experience with other material handling equipment.
