Job Description
Kickstart your career as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver with FedEx Ground in Jurupa Valley, CA! We’re seeking motivated and reliable individuals to operate box trucks for local package delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to deliver and pick up packages on an assigned route.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues.
- Scan and log packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring secure transport.
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously, providing excellent service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and delivery equipment.
- Manage delivery schedule to meet service commitments.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license (Class C or equivalent).
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years (no major violations).
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted, and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or transportation role.
- Familiarity with local Jurupa Valley and surrounding areas.
- High school diploma or GED.
