Key Responsibilities

  • Administer allergy injections safely and efficiently, ensuring correct dosage and patient monitoring post-injection.
  • Perform various diagnostic allergy tests, including skin prick tests, following established protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families on allergy management, medication use, and potential reactions.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after allergy procedures and respond appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within our electronic health record system.
  • Collaborate with allergists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Familiarity with allergy and immunology procedures.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
