Job Description
Are you a skilled and passionate beauty professional who loves to bring beauty services directly to clients? Chatters Salons is looking for a dynamic Mobile Beauty Aide to join our team in Winnipeg. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage a flexible roster, travel to various client locations, and deliver high-quality beauty treatments on the go. Key Responsibilities
- Provide a range of beauty services including makeup application, hair styling, basic nail care (manicures/pedicures), and potentially facials at client homes, offices, or event venues.
- Manage and maintain a flexible work schedule, coordinating appointments efficiently.
- Travel safely and punctually to various client locations across Winnipeg, utilizing a personal vehicle.
- Consult with clients to understand their specific beauty needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary mobile workspace and equipment according to health and safety standards.
- Effectively manage and transport all necessary beauty products, tools, and supplies.
- Process payments and manage appointment bookings with professionalism.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products.
Required Skills
- Certified Esthetician or Cosmetologist diploma/certificate from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in providing beauty services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-service orientation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Proficiency in makeup application, hair styling (up-dos, blowouts), and basic nail care.
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong professional portfolio showcasing previous beauty work.
- Previous experience specifically in mobile beauty services or on-location event styling.
- Additional certifications in advanced skincare, lash extensions, or massage therapy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of business management software for scheduling and invoicing.
