Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally polished and engaging VIP Lounge Host to join our dynamic team at The St. Regis Bermuda Resort. In this pivotal role, you will be the face of our most exclusive high-end events and private lounges, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience for our distinguished guests. This position demands a keen eye for detail, impeccable communication skills, and a proactive approach to anticipate and fulfill the needs of our VIP clientele. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome VIP guests to exclusive lounges and event areas, managing access and seating arrangements.
  • Anticipate and fulfill guest needs promptly and discreetly, including beverage service, amenity requests, and information provision.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation within VIP lounges and event spaces.
  • Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding all guest information and activities.
  • Provide expert knowledge of resort services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and all operational aspects of VIP areas.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a luxury hospitality or high-end customer service role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a VIP Host, Concierge, or Butler in a five-star hotel or resort.
  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
  • Certification in advanced customer service or hospitality management.
  • Knowledge of local culture, history, and attractions in Bermuda.
