Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Pinterest Layout Artist to join our dynamic content team. This 100% remote role will focus on visually captivating our audience across various magazine and blog properties through expertly crafted Pinterest Pins and boards. You will be instrumental in transforming our rich editorial content into engaging, traffic-driving visuals that adhere to our brand guidelines and Pinterest best practices. If you have a passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for design, and a deep understanding of the Pinterest platform, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create visually stunning Pinterest Pins (static, video, idea pins) for a diverse portfolio of magazine and blog content.
- Develop and maintain cohesive Pinterest board layouts and aesthetics that align with brand identities.
- Optimize Pins for search and engagement, including compelling titles, descriptions, and calls to action.
- Conduct ongoing research into Pinterest trends, algorithm changes, and competitor strategies.
- Collaborate closely with content strategists, editors, and marketing teams to ensure visual content supports broader campaigns.
- Manage and organize a high volume of visual assets, ensuring brand consistency across all Pins.
- Monitor Pin performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; or Canva Pro).
- Expert-level understanding of the Pinterest platform, including current trends, best practices, and analytics.
- Strong visual communication and storytelling abilities.
- Excellent sense of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work, particularly for social media or digital content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with Pinterest SEO and keyword research tools.
- Familiarity with various content management systems (CMS).
- Understanding of digital marketing principles and conversion funnels.
