Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Sweeper to join our team at the FedEx distribution center in Pasco, WA. This entry-level position is crucial for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment within our busy warehouse. The successful candidate will perform various simple, routine tasks focused on facility support and cleanliness, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of warehouse floors, aisles, and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to company guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other shared spaces.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, equipment, and shelving.
- Assist with spill clean-up and address immediate facility cleanliness needs.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as necessary.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervision.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Support other facility maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 25 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial cleaning role.
