Job Description
Are you a motivated and energetic 14-year-old looking for your first job in a dynamic retail environment? King Soopers is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Grocery Runners. This active, on-site role is perfect for teens eager to gain valuable work experience, help customers, and contribute to a bustling store atmosphere. You’ll be assisting customers with their shopping, helping to organize merchandise, and keeping our store clean and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to designated areas.
- Help maintain cleanliness and order throughout the store, including aisles and checkout areas.
- Support store associates with various tasks as needed, such as stocking shelves or organizing displays.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to all customers and team members.
Required Skills
- Must be 14 years of age or older.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing carts, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service (even informal, such as volunteering or helping family).
