Job Description

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations and company policy.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to designated locations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and all required paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Represent Werner Enterprises professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dry van or refrigerated freight
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Proven track record of safe driving practices
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
