Job Description
Are you a morning person with a keen sense of smell and a love for freshly baked goods? La Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe is seeking enthusiastic and discerning individuals to join our team as a Bakery Secret Shopper for our morning roster. This unique role allows you to help us maintain our high standards of quality, service, and ambiance by covertly evaluating our bakery locations. Your mission will be to assess everything from the freshness of our bread and pastries to the cleanliness of our cafes and the friendliness of our staff, particularly during the crucial morning rush. This is more than just an evaluation; it’s an opportunity to ensure every customer experiences the authentic charm and deliciousness La Madeleine is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned La Madeleine bakery locations as a regular customer during morning hours.
- Observe and evaluate the quality, freshness, and presentation of baked goods, with a special focus on bread aroma and texture.
- Assess the cleanliness and overall ambiance of the cafe, including dining areas, restrooms, and service counters.
- Evaluate the speed, accuracy, and friendliness of staff interactions, from order placement to pickup.
- Discreetly complete a detailed report after each visit, providing objective feedback and constructive observations.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality regarding your role and findings.
- Submit reports within established deadlines.
