Job Description
The Gentlemen’s Edge Barbershop is seeking a diligent and reliable Barber Shop Sweeper for weekend shifts. This entry-level position is ideal for teens or students looking for their first job or seeking to earn extra income in a professional setting. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of our barbershop, creating a pleasant and hygienic environment for our clients and staff. This role is crucial to our daily operations and the overall client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly sweep hair and debris from around barber chairs and throughout the shop floor.
- Empty waste bins and replace liners as needed.
- Wipe down surfaces, including countertops and reception areas, to maintain a clean appearance.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms.
- Ensure barber chairs and workstations are tidy between clients.
- Assist with light dusting and window cleaning.
- Restock supplies such as towels and cleaning products as instructed.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Communicate any supply needs or maintenance issues to management.
Required Skills
