Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Electronic Arts is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated QA Aide to join our EA Sports team in Summerlin, Las Vegas. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who have recently completed their high school education and are looking to kickstart a career in the gaming industry. As a QA Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and playability of our world-class sports titles. You’ll be responsible for meticulously testing various aspects of our games, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with development teams to deliver an exceptional gaming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases with precision on assigned game features and functionality.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies using internal bug tracking systems.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved without introducing new problems.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate feedback on gameplay, usability, and overall player experience.
- Participate in daily team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with QA leads, developers, and other team members.
- Adhere to project schedules and deliver high-quality work within specified deadlines.
- Learn and adapt to new testing methodologies, tools, and game features.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with various operating systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks thoroughly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A strong passion for video games, especially sports titles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience playing a wide variety of video games across different platforms.
- Familiarity with basic game mechanics and common gaming terminology.
