Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Factory Floor Administrator with a focus on Production Support to join our team in Pasco, WA. This crucial role provides essential administrative and operational assistance to our manufacturing floor, ensuring smooth communication, efficient documentation, and robust support for production activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is an on-site position vital to our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to production supervisors and floor staff, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and report generation.
  • Maintain accurate production records, logs, and databases, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with inventory management and material tracking for production lines.
  • Coordinate communication between the production floor, management, and other departments (e.g., HR, Quality Assurance, Maintenance).
  • Prepare and distribute production-related documents, such as work orders, safety briefings, and training materials.
  • Support the onboarding process for new production employees, including paperwork and initial orientation.
  • Handle data entry for production metrics, downtime analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Order and manage office supplies and small equipment for the production office.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Familiarity with production scheduling software.
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
