Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate opportunity to join a dynamic team without needing a driver’s license? FedEx Express is hiring dedicated and energetic Driver Mates in North Las Vegas. In this essential role, you will assist our drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of packages, ensuring excellent service to our customers. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required, and we provide all necessary training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist FedEx drivers with the loading and unloading of packages from delivery vehicles.
- Safely and efficiently handle packages, ensuring proper scanning and sorting.
- Navigate designated delivery routes alongside the driver.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vehicle and at the facility.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with recipients.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support delivery operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in package handling.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role.
- Familiarity with local North Las Vegas area routes.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
