Job Description
Are you a highly energetic individual looking for an immediate start in a fast-paced environment? FedEx Express is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Runners to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic warehouse setting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring packages move efficiently through our facility, contributing to our commitment to timely and accurate deliveries. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training!
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, scan, and move packages within the warehouse facility.
- Load and unload freight by hand or with equipment such as dollies and pallet jacks.
- Operate scanning equipment to track package movement and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and package identification as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- High level of energy and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with scanning technology.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
