Job Description
Join Electronic Arts as a full-time Game Tester in our Huntsville office! This exciting role offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week, providing a stable opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of video game development. As a Game Tester, you will be on the front lines, ensuring the quality and playability of our next generation of games. You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs, glitches, and other issues to our development teams, contributing directly to the player experience. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify defects, glitches, and inconsistencies in game functionality.
- Document and report bugs clearly and concisely using internal bug tracking systems, including steps to reproduce, severity, and impact.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and producers to understand game features and testing requirements.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure new issues are not introduced.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, user experience, and overall game quality.
- Maintain a deep understanding of game mechanics, controls, and features under test.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
