Job Description
Join the Currys team as an IKEA TV Bench Assembly Specialist, providing essential high street retail support. This role is crucial for ensuring our customers receive expertly assembled furniture, enhancing their shopping experience and satisfaction. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling IKEA TV benches and similar flat-pack furniture items, primarily for in-store display, customer collection, or sometimes at customer locations within the local area. Precision, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble IKEA TV benches and other flat-pack furniture according to manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure all assembled items meet quality standards and are structurally sound.
- Manage tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring they are well-maintained.
- Provide clear communication regarding assembly progress or any issues encountered.
- Assist with general retail support tasks as needed, including stock movement or display setup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Potentially conduct on-site assembly at customer homes within a local radius.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex assembly instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift moderately heavy items.

Preferred Qualifications
