Job Description
Are you passionate about creating great experiences and eager to start a career in hospitality? The Keg Steakhouse + Bar in Downtown Edmonton is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Server / Wait Staff. No prior experience is required – we are committed to providing comprehensive training to help you master the art of tableside service, menu knowledge, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting guests and seating them comfortably
- Presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and answering questions about food and beverages
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system
- Serving food and drinks promptly and efficiently
- Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Clearing and resetting tables in a timely manner
- Handling payments and processing transactions accurately
- Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
- Strong team player mentality
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role (any industry)
- Familiarity with POS systems (training provided)
- ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
