Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Chauffeur with exceptional team management capabilities to join our dynamic Blacklane team in New Port Richey. This pivotal role involves not only providing top-tier chauffeuring services but also leading, mentoring, and scheduling a team of professional chauffeurs to ensure operational excellence and consistent delivery of our brand’s high standards. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable driving record, strong leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of luxury client service. You will be instrumental in maintaining fleet readiness, optimizing routes, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring every Blacklane journey is safe, efficient, and exceptionally comfortable.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to their destinations in luxury vehicles.
- Lead, mentor, and provide ongoing training to a team of chauffeurs.
- Develop and manage chauffeur schedules to ensure optimal coverage and service delivery.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and readiness, ensuring all vehicles meet Blacklane’s pristine standards.
- Handle escalated client concerns and ensure swift, satisfactory resolutions.
- Optimize routes and schedules for efficiency and punctuality, utilizing advanced navigation tools.
- Maintain immaculate vehicle interiors and exteriors.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Support onboarding of new chauffeurs and integrate them into the team culture.
- Assist in operational planning and strategy to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional chauffeuring experience.
- Proven experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
- Exceptional driving skills and an impeccable safety record.
- Valid Class D (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
- Deep knowledge of local geography and efficient routing in the Pasco County area and surrounding regions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation applications.
- Discretion, professionalism, and a commitment to client confidentiality.
- Ability to perform minor vehicle checks and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced defensive driving certification.
- Experience with luxury vehicle fleets and high-net-worth clients.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, German).
