Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Lead Chauffeur with strong team management capabilities to join our operations in Irvine, CA. This pivotal role combines the responsibilities of a highly skilled professional chauffeur with the leadership duties of overseeing a small team of drivers. You will not only provide impeccable transportation services to our discerning clients but also play a crucial role in mentoring, scheduling, and ensuring operational excellence within your team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable, and discreet chauffeured transportation services for executives and VIP clients.
- Manage and mentor a small team of chauffeurs, providing guidance and support.
- Assist with scheduling and dispatching, ensuring optimal resource allocation and client satisfaction.
- Conduct vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring all vehicles meet Carey International's high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Oversee adherence to all company policies, safety regulations, and local traffic laws.
- Handle client requests and resolve any service-related issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Provide regular feedback and performance insights to management.
- Maintain immaculate personal presentation and uphold the highest standards of customer service.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new chauffeur team members.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional chauffeuring experience, preferably in luxury or corporate transport.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a team setting.
- Impeccable driving record with a valid driver's license.
- Exceptional knowledge of local geography and optimal routes in Southern California, particularly Orange County.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Discretion, professionalism, and a commitment to client confidentiality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a lead driver, dispatcher, or team lead.
- Advanced defensive driving or safety certifications.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle maintenance and operation.
- Proficiency with dispatching software and mobile navigation applications.
