Job Description

Avis Luxury Cars South Africa is offering an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Limo Driver Trainee. This entry-level position is perfect for those with no prior professional driving experience, as we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to develop you into a skilled and professional chauffeur. Key Responsibilities
- Complete all required training modules and practical driving sessions with diligence.
- Learn and master safe driving practices, local traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Develop expert knowledge of primary routes, alternative paths, and key destinations within Durban and surrounding areas.
- Assist clients with luggage and provide a welcoming and professional onboard experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of luxury vehicles to Avis Luxury Cars' high standards.
- Adhere to strict schedules and ensure timely arrivals and departures for all assignments.
- Demonstrate impeccable customer service, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or issues promptly to management.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding trip status and any unforeseen delays.
Required Skills
- Valid South African Code B (or higher) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Strong commitment to customer service and client satisfaction.
- High degree of professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
- Geographical familiarity with Durban and surrounding KwaZulu-Natal areas (or strong ability to learn quickly).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., hospitality, retail).
- A passion for driving and luxury automobiles.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
