Job Description
Are you looking for a stable job with affordable accommodation in a supportive community? G’s Fresh is seeking dedicated Live-in Vegetable Pickers to join our team at our farm near Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to work outdoors, contribute to the food supply chain, and benefit from low-rent housing directly on site. No previous experience is required; we provide full training for all new team members. This role offers consistent work, contributing to the harvest of high-quality vegetables for consumers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully hand-picking a variety of vegetables according to quality standards.
- Working efficiently to meet daily picking targets.
- Ensuring vegetables are picked without damage and placed correctly into containers.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
