Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Logistics Operations Assistant to join our team in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position vital to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and operational support, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments and effective communication across various departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of freight shipments and deliveries.
  • Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance, discrepancies, and resolutions.
  • Support the logistics team with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
