Job Description
Join Blacklane as a dedicated Meet and Greet Driver, specializing in airport terminal arrivals at Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and serving the greater Kansas City metropolitan area, including Overland Park. Your primary role will be to provide an exceptional first impression and a smooth transition for our discerning clients from the moment they step off their flight. This involves a personalized meet and greet experience, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey to their destination. We are looking for professional, reliable, and customer-focused individuals who take pride in delivering premium service.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute personalized meet and greet services for arriving passengers directly at specified airport terminals, holding a professional Blacklane sign.
- Assist passengers with luggage handling, loading, and unloading from the vehicle.
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to their desired destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Maintain a pristine vehicle interior and exterior at all times, ensuring it meets Blacklane's high standards.
- Monitor flight schedules for delays, early arrivals, or cancellations and adjust plans accordingly, communicating proactively with dispatch and clients.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service, responding to client inquiries and special requests with grace and efficiency.
- Maintain strict punctuality and reliability for all assigned transfers.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork accurately.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and communication standards.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or customer service experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Kansas City metropolitan area roads and airport logistics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable punctuality and time management abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a chauffeur, limousine driver, or in luxury ground transportation.
- Familiarity with in-car navigation systems and mobile applications.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Customer service certification or training.
