Job Description

The Microsoft Store is looking for a dedicated Gaming Pro to join our team. In this role, you will be the ultimate resource for all things gaming, from the latest Xbox consoles and PC setups to the hottest titles and accessories. You’ll engage customers with interactive demonstrations, provide personalized recommendations, and help them unlock their full gaming potential within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is perfect for someone who loves to connect with people, evangelize gaming technology, and drive sales through genuine enthusiasm and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers in dynamic conversations to understand their gaming needs and preferences.
- Conduct compelling, interactive demonstrations of Xbox consoles, PC gaming, games, and accessories.
- Provide expert advice and personalized recommendations on gaming hardware, software, and services.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for gaming products, services, and accessories.
- Educate customers on Microsoft's gaming ecosystem, including Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Live, and PC gaming solutions.
- Assist with store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming trends, product releases, and competitive landscape.
- Foster a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for all customers, from casual players to hardcore enthusiasts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and positive customer journey.
Required Skills
- Proven passion for gaming and the latest gaming technology across various platforms (Xbox, PC).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a high-energy and engaging personality.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build rapport quickly.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and experience achieving sales goals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable with public speaking and performing product demonstrations to small groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service role, particularly in consumer electronics or gaming.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft gaming products and services (Xbox consoles, Game Pass, PC gaming titles).
- Experience with competitive gaming or esports communities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
