Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Music Marketing Associate with a strong focus on brand partnerships to join our team in Minneapolis. This role is crucial for expanding our artists’ reach and revenue through strategic collaborations with brands. You will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and executing marketing initiatives that align artists with relevant brands, creating mutually beneficial campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, a keen understanding of marketing trends, and excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and vet potential brand partners whose values and target audience align with our artists and music catalog.
- Assist in the development and presentation of compelling partnership proposals and marketing plans to brands and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital content creation, social media activations, experiential events, and product collaborations.
- Monitor campaign performance, gather data, and prepare post-campaign reports with insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between artists/management teams and brand partners, ensuring clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Support the marketing team in broader campaign planning and execution as needed, contributing to overall artist development.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in music, marketing, and brand partnerships.
Required Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, brand partnerships, or a related field within the music or entertainment industry.
- Proven ability to identify and cultivate strategic relationships.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft persuasive proposals and presentations.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM software and project management tools.
- A deep passion for music across various genres and an understanding of artist branding.
