Join the CVS Health team as an Entry Level Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist in our fast-paced warehouse environment in New Port Richey, FL. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals seeking to start a career in healthcare logistics. You will play a critical role in ensuring prescriptions and other pharmacy-related items are accurately prepared and dispatched to our customers and retail locations. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack pharmacy orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Verify product numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and scanning equipment to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory as needed.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after proper training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to supervision promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for using scanning equipment and internal systems.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, production, or retail environment (even if minimal).
- Familiarity with inventory control practices.
