Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician with a primary focus on sorting and shipping processes. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of prescription medications to our patients. Your meticulous approach will help maintain the integrity of our pharmacy operations and uphold our commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. This is an on-site position at our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Omaha.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort completed prescription orders for shipping.
- Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and organize incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, carts).
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Verify prescription details against shipping labels to prevent errors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily quotas.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly
- Basic computer proficiency
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to patient privacy (HIPAA compliance)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, warehouse, or fulfillment center setting
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medical terminology
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or willingness to obtain
- Experience with automated dispensing or sorting systems
