Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications.
- Process prescription refills and new prescriptions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Maintain patient profiles and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and processing returns.
- Operate cash register and handle payment transactions.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience.
- Pharmacy Technician Trainee registration or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
- Bilingual abilities (especially Spanish).
